Uncle Simon II was a robot created by Simon Polk to portray as his successor if he were to pass away. He was built to imitate everything about Uncle Simon, from his voice to the old gentleman's limp (which occurred when Barbara had pushed him down the basement stairs, same demise as Simon Polk).

Trivia

• Uncle Simon II is portrayed by "Robby the Robot" who made its debut appearance in the 1956 Science fiction film "The Forbidden Planet". The helmet of the costume beneath the glass dome is however changed to more closely resemble a human face.
