This is an overview of season 1 of The New Twilight Zone, which ran from 1985-1986.

The show's first season was made up of twenty-four hour-long episodes that each contained two or three-story segments. Recognizable authors such as Greg Bear, Ray Bradbury, Arthur C. Clarke, Harlan Ellison, Robert McCammon, and Stephen King all had stories adapted for the season's episodes. It would succeed in being renewed for a second season.
